This project addresses the communication of thyroid care through film, translating complex medical knowledge into an accessible account of thyroid conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures and post-operative care. It considered the patient pathway as a whole, from initial orientation and preparation to treatment and recovery, while integrating specialist knowledge into a clear visual narrative.
Unbound Trajectories brought expertise in patient communication, narrative and scenario development, visual structuring, formal reflection and editorial decision-making. The project demonstrates how visual storytelling can make specialist healthcare knowledge more understandable and support patients in navigating complex treatment processes.
